We currently have a foundation phase classroom for learners requiring intensive individual support across many developmental areas. Each learner follows an Individual Education Plan and a therapeutic-based, practical, and adapted learning programme is implemented to provide for the needs of each learner. This classroom accommodates a maximum of 6 learners with a classroom facilitator and assistant to provide individual and small-group support.
Our intermediate phase high support programme focuses on functional academic learning, social skills intervention, and practical learning activities (including food preparation, cleaning and laundry tasks, gardening, crafting, safety education, and creative arts) to develop learners’ independence across daily functional tasks and develop each child’s unique skills.
